The PJB Garage Defender Lock protects your garage door with a bright, eye-catching barrier. Firstly, it warns potential thieves clearly. Moreover, it locks firmly with a high-security SAS C-Type padlock included. Therefore, the door cannot open past the locked bar.
You fix the defender lock directly into concrete outside your garage door, using the two fixing bolts that come with the package for quick installation. For best results, start drilling with a 10mm bit. Next, widen the hole using a 16mm bit to allow easy fixing. Consequently, a clean fixing ensures maximum strength and security. Additionally, there is the option of a tarmac adaptor plate that can be concreted into position by digging a small hole in your tarmac.
The base plate measures 78 x 205mm and is 5mm thick, providing a solid foundation. Furthermore, the bolts cannot be unscrewed when the defender lock is secured as the bolts remain hidden under the unit and the closed garage door. As a result, thieves cannot tamper with them.
The bright red paint increases the visual deterrent effect significantly. However, if you do not want your lock to be so visible, you can select the white version instead.
